It’s an exciting time for us at Lodgikol as we look forward to being part of a fantastic development taking place at one of the most scenic holiday parks in the north.
At Thorpe Farm Centre holiday park, owners Paul and Jo Barkes have invested in extensive development plans in order to improve their offering for holiday makers at their site in County Durham. Lodgikol has got on board to run the dedicated sales operation for the holiday lodges said Brian Drury, managing director at Lodgikol. The site will house a mixture of privately owned lodges and investment and fractional ownership lodges.
“The scale of development taking place at Thorpe Farm Centre is immense so it’s really exciting to be working with owners who share our vision. We are looking forward to bringing our lodges to the area as we believe that people might not be familiar with the concept of high-end luxury lodges. This way, they can see for themselves how our lodges are atypical of some offers on the market.
“Perched on the edge of North Yorkshire, and just an hour away from the Lakes and the likes of big cities such as Newcastle, Manchester and Leeds, this holiday park is perfectly located. The site for our lodges is wonderful: set among the trees with views all around,” he added.
The land designated for the luxury lodges is adjacent to the main site where there is a brand new restaurant, farm shop, reclamation barn, caravan park, campsite and the Peel House café. Thorpe Farm Centre is also home to a heritage wood, wetlands and Wetheriggs Animal Rescue Centre.
Brian said they will be potentially looking to set up glamping and camping pods sites in the future. For the meantime, though, the focus is on sharing Lodgikol’s offering with people looking to invest in a luxury holiday lodge.
There will soon be a two-bedroom lodge on display at the site, and the opportunity to buy a number of units off-plan at an attractive rate.
